Metalens: Blocking App

Year: 2019/20 

As part of a University brief, the challenge was to brand a smart contact lens ‘Metalens’ and design the smartphone app to accompany the product. 

Metalens enables the user to block people from their vision. The app targets 18+ year olds in order to improve their mood and mental well-being, making a bad situation seem less serious/ hurtful or unpleasant. ​The colours emphasise that there is a function with both seriousness and light heartedness, whilst the sans-serif typeface communicates the simplicity and honesty of the brand.
