Disruption Festival

Year: 2019

The requirement was to undertake a range of tasks and produce a design solution to form part of a coherent campaign for the festival. The design deliverables produced were a final logo; a bus stop poster to promote the event; a printed multi-page document and moving image. Instead of focusing on the disruptive visual imagery, the direction concentrated on the disruptive process influenced by Jackson Pollock: the idea of not knowing the outcome and taking risks to create unique textures.

Experiments with scanography were conducted with different materials, such as cling film, water and tinfoil. This was a dynamic process as the results were never the same and were implemented onto the poster and multi-page document to add more texture.
